Panerai is proud to present the new LUMINOR MARINA watch. The stainless steel strap seamlessly matches the case. The independent link design is inspired by the protective device that protects the winding crown.
The new Luminor Marina 1950 3 Days Automatic-3 day power reserve automatic stainless steel watch case and dial design classic and extraordinary, and for the first time equipped with a new metal strap. The shape of the chain links echoes the protection of the winding crown, like the first stainless steel bracelet of Panerai in 1999. The shape of each chain link is reminiscent of the iconic bridge protection device. Each link is interlocked and does not require any screws to form an ergonomic chain. It flexes and stretches freely, fits the wrist, and is fully loaded with movement. Style, yet exquisite details, alternately embellished with polishing and frosting effects, naturally created.
The new bracelet uses the same AISI 316L stainless steel as the Luminor 1950 case, which is sturdy and durable, but it is lighter than previous Panerai watches. The frosted case contrasts with the polished bezel. It is equipped with a P.9010 automatic winding movement that is only 6 mm thick, making the case extremely thin and light. The sapphire crystal window on the back of the case makes the details of the movement clearly visible. The movement is completely developed independently by Panerai Chateau Manufacture. It is equipped with a three-day power reserve and is wound by a two-way oscillating weight. It is also equipped with a device that stops the balance wheel to allow the watch to accurately time. Its system can quickly adjust the hour hand back and forth without affecting the operation of the second hand, making it easier to adjust the time or change the time zone. At the same time, it can quickly adjust the date display at the 3 o’clock position of the dial.
The new Luminor Marina 1950 3 Days Automatic-3-day power reserve automatic stainless steel watch dial in black, large off-white luminous hour markers and blue hands on the small seconds dial at 9 o’clock perfectly reflect the uniqueness of Panerai style. Sandwich dials ensure a clear reading at night and underwater, a design element of every Panerai watch. The watch (PAM00722) is water-resistant to 10 bar (water depth of about 100 meters), the case diameter is 42 mm, and the other (PAM00723) 44 mm model is water-resistant to 30 bar.
The new Luminor Marina 1950 3 Days Automatic-3 day power reserve automatic stainless steel watch is equipped with Panerai’s patented system. Simply press the small button on the bottom of the lug with the special tool attached to easily replace the strap. Optional stainless steel strap is available, compatible with Luminor 1950 case model with P.9010 movement.
