Louis Vuitton Tambour Moon Blue Watch Series

New interpretation, from time
Introduced in 2017, the Tambour Moon watch series commemorates the 15th anniversary of the Tambour watch. The unique concave curved case and interchangeable strap system are memorable. Nowadays, the series has added a new blue dial design, which adapts to different styles and genders, and exudes elegant yet dynamic charm.
Tambour Moon Star Women’s Blue Watch Collection
The three new women’s Tambour Moon Star blue watch collections feature a richly colored dark blue dial and incorporate a number of Louis Vuitton’s signature elements.
Each watch features a small rose gold seconds dial with a Monogram flower pattern at 6 o’clock, which rotates every 60 seconds. From simple decorative patterns to unique functional designs, Monogram flowers are a timeless symbol of Louis Vuitton’s femininity in watchmaking. The clever mechanical mechanism presents a versatile and stylish design highlight: each watch is equipped with a patented Louis Vuitton replaceable strap system, which can be used on leather, canvas, rubber and alligator materials without using tools. Freely switch between straps.
Dark blue color schemes, vivid and exquisite Monogram flower small seconds, interchangeable strap system, three Tambour MoonStar ladies blue watches have a unique charm. In addition, the 28 mm diameter watch is equipped with a quartz movement, a simple stainless steel case with a pair of hands, and the lugs and hour markers are set with diamonds. Two stainless steel chronograph models with mirror-polished hour markers and quartz movements, with a diameter of 35 mm, fit perfectly with the ladies’ wrists in fiber show.

Tambour Moon Men’s Blue Watch Collection
Four men’s watches interpret the design aesthetics of Louis Vuitton with a unique dark blue dial background and a theme pattern derived from Damier plaid canvas, giving a glimpse into the mature charm of the watch system.
The first watch with a diameter of 41.5 millimeters was equipped with the GMT dual-time function, which invited the wearer to explore the distance, showing Louis Vuitton’s fascination with travel. The stainless steel case and the stainless steel / rose gold two-tone case are equipped with a self-winding movement, a date display window at 3 o’clock, and a second time zone-specific hand.
Focusing on performance, this extremely practical chronograph has a dynamic appearance. The 44-mm-diameter rose gold case is equipped with the VL277 high-frequency self-winding chronograph movement.
And the stunningly sophisticated watch is a masterpiece of Louis Vuitton’s extraordinary watchmaking skills: a 42mm rose gold case with a flying tourbillon movement. The LV81 self-winding movement independently developed and produced by La Fabrique du Temps, a watchmaking workshop, completes a rotation every 60 seconds, and is also decorated with a V on behalf of Louis Vuitton at 6 o’clock.

Hyt Skull Let Time Look Directly Into Your Eyes-news Hyt

‘Just adding a vaguely skull-shaped design to the old core, let’s say this is a new work-this is not our style.’ Vincent Perriard, CEO of HYT In the words — the Skull watch is an extraordinary new work unprecedented in the brand’s history, breaking all the rules. You don’t need to be an expert to feel its extraordinary design power. Even at first glance, it is amazing and memorable for a long time-just because it not only embodies, but it is completely out of all the characteristics of the HYT brand. It is a unique watch that can inspire people’s interest. The fluid mechanics, which has long become the iconic style of the HYT brand, achieves a bold breakthrough design. Skull’s extraordinary uniqueness speaks for itself, however, its development process is not obvious.

Skull is the first watch ever: it’s not you looking at time, but time looking at you

A smart watchmaking process
The use of liquid-filled conduits as hour markers is a concept mastered by HYT and its partners. However, any major change in form factor requires a lot of behind-the-scenes work. As far as Skull is concerned, it is extremely challenging to shape a skull with a tube less than one millimeter in diameter. The problem is concentrated on the four corners of the pipe guide, with the two corners at the bottom approaching 90 °. How these radian extensions cause the watch to bend moderately is a task that requires special attention. ‘The vertical structure developed for the H1 watch became our starting point. However, we then had to re-examine how to generate enough power to allow liquid to flow through these large bends, while ensuring that the liquid indicates the correct Time, and at a constant speed for more than twelve hours. ‘

Skull Green Eye is available in two limited editions. Fifty pieces made of DLC titanium with green liquid, irregular structure, liquid hour display

Recapture the essence of time
In order to stay true to the design and retain the most straightforward skull shape, HYT decided to discard the minute display. This bold decision has a double meaning. First, it shifts the main attention to the tube guide. The tube is filled with moving liquid to become the only time indicator on the senses. Second, the skull covering almost the entire dial is formed into focus. Attention is focused on the structural design of the watch. Similarly, in contrast to other models, HYT chooses to hide the movement from the dial almost completely.

Skull Green Eye watch with manual winding movement, HYT unique movement structure

In order to inject vitality into Skull, the brand has also introduced many new research and development achievements. First, two vertical, retractable reservoirs continue to operate-it is their imperceptible telescoping that allows liquid to flow within the conduit. In addition, Skull’s eyes have their own vitality. The right eye indicates the power reserve of the watch. By using a series of translucent panels with slightly different shades, the color of the right eye gradually fades as the watch’s 65-hour power reserve tends to deplete, while a continuously rotating hide is hidden in the left eye. Small seconds. The vitality and life of the watch must be seen through Skull’s eyes-exactly the spirit and vitality of the watch. Under the design of the two-layer case, a subtle honeycomb pattern provides the background for the eyes, making the ‘eyes’ deeper. The non-stop movement brings life to the skull and fills the soul. Skull is the first watch ever: it’s not you looking at time, but time looking at you.
Heritage and innovation of watch appearance
‘We’ve always wanted to know how far we can go in terms of design and structural engineering. Our goal is to create a Skull that is completely free of everything you often do, while still embodying the HYT gene-a bold, professional, conceptual and Original design, ‘explains Vincent Perriard. However, change cannot just stop at the movement. We made a new 51 mm case for Skull, with new lugs and curved chamfers. The push-button crown for adjusting the time lies between 2 o’clock and 3 o’clock. The case is also equipped with horizontal inserts, providing more possibilities for the development of multiple combinations of watches in the future.
