This weekend, the world’s top riders gathered at the 63-meter-high and magnificent Shanghai Chinese Art Museum to participate in the fourth leg of the Longines Global Champions Tour. As the title partner and official timekeeper of the whole tour, Longines is deeply honored to present the China event. On April 30 (Saturday), Abdullah Alsharbatly rode ‘Tobalio’ to win the focus event ‘Longines World Championship Tour Shanghai Grand Prix’. Longines President Waltervon Känel presented the Saudi Arabian rider with an elegant Longines watch to congratulate him for his outstanding performance.
Longines Elegant Ambassador Lin Zhiling attended the Longines World Championship Tour Shanghai Grand Prix. The beautiful Taiwanese actress and model came to watch the event on Saturday.
Longines also showcased the designated watch for the event: a watch from the Longines Master Collection. As a traditional watchmaking brand, Longines has been producing outstanding watch masterpieces since the beginning, and the Longines master craftsmanship series is perfect interpretation of this insistence. This iconic men’s chronograph features a delicate silver embossed wheat dial and moon phase display. The stainless steel case with a transparent caseback reveals the fascinating dynamics of a self-winding mechanical movement.
After completing the Asian race, the Longines World Championship Tour will return to Europe. Subsequent events will be held in Hamburg, Madrid, Chantilly and Cannes. The tour kicked off in Miami in early April and will end in Doha in November with 14 races in 14 cities.
