Omega Seahorse Series Aqua Terra Extreme Observatory
The Omega Seahorse Aqua Terra watch always blends exquisite design with the spirit of ocean exploration to create elegant and outstanding glamour timepieces. This time, Omega has carefully created the brand new Aqua Terra Extreme Observatory. It incorporates many ingenious innovations in the popular design elements to give the timepiece a new look and add color.
The most significant change of the new Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra is the dial of the ‘Teak Concept’. The design of the ‘Teak Concept’ dial is inspired by the teak deck on the yacht and is also a signature feature of the Aqua Terra watch. This year, Omega upgraded this classic design again, turning vertical texture into horizontal texture, giving Aqua Terra a new charm. The date window was moved from 3 o’clock to 6 o’clock, creating an extraordinary symmetrical aesthetic experience. It also paid tribute to Omega’s first hippocampal calendar watch with a date window display in 1952.
In order to perfectly reflect the unique concept of symmetrical design, the new Omega Seahorse Aqua Terra watch case has been redesigned to make the watch as a whole beautiful. In addition, in the past, the waterproof digital samples on the dial of the Aqua Terra watch were transferred to the case back, thereby making the dial more simple and atmospheric. The new conical crown echoes the corrugated edge design of the case back.
Here, Omega presents three new models of the Aqua Terra. The 41 mm model is made of stainless steel and 18K Sedna® gold, with a silver dial, black hands and black hour markers, and is equipped with a black rubber strap. Connected to make the overall aesthetic of the watch multiplied, it is also a pioneering move in the Aqua Terra series.
The other 41mm model has a stainless steel case with a silver dial, black hands, black hour markers and orange lacquered seconds hand, and it has a brown leather strap. The dial is printed with the word ‘Seamaster’ in orange, and the 15-, 30-, 45-, and 60-second positions on the minute circle are marked by orange markers, adding a touch of aesthetics to the dial, reminiscent of navigation And traditional compass.
The 38mm model is perfectly made of pure stainless steel, with a charming dark blue dial, and the hands and hour indexes are rhodium-plated. Omega’s elaborate design perfectly matches the case and the bracelet, which enhances the overall beauty again, and also makes the watch more suitable for the wearer of the slim wrist.
The watch’s corrugated edges on the back of the watch are equally striking. Through the sapphire case back, the movement of the Omega 8900/8800 Chronometer Observatory is beautiful. The entire watch and movement have passed the strict watchmaking industry high certification standards approved by the Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology (METAS), achieving outstanding improvements in accuracy and performance. Omega provides a four-year after-sales service guarantee for each Seahorse Aqua Terra.
